This coronavirus (COVID-19) company policy is susceptible to changes with the introduction of additional governmental guidelines.

1) Entry to the Office
If you feel ill, have a fever, been in contact with someone with a confirmed or probable case of COVID 19, please do not enter the office. Please respect / stay behind the taped floor lines.

2) Masks
If you are required to proceed past the reception area, please wear a mask for your protection as well as that of our staff. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you.

3) Hand Hygiene & Sanitation
We encourage frequent hand washing with soap and water at least 20 seconds and use of >60% alcohol sanitizer. Enter the office only after washing your hands in the washroom, or after having used hand sanitizer after exiting the elevator. If you do not have hand sanitizer, the office has hand sanitizer available for your use.

4) Distancing
Please keep 6 feet back when consulting with our staff.

1) Do not come to work if you feel ill or if you have been in contact with someone with a confirmed or probable case of COVD 19. If that is the case, please notify Administration Manager.

2) If you come to work and feel ill, advise Administration Manager immediately and we will make arrangements for you to safely return home or to the hospital as required.

3) Hand hygiene and sanitation
We encourage frequent hand washing with soap and water at least 20 seconds and use of >60% alcohol sanitizer

4) Transportation to & from work
If you currently drive to work and are coming from the building parking, cover your hand with disposable material, e.g. Kleenex when opening door handles and touching elevator buttons (and then dispose of same)

5) Stairs and elevators
Avoid peak times, follow the building protocol re maximum 3 persons per elevator and face away from one another. Press buttons with disposable materials covered hand (e.g. Kleenex, then disposed
Take stairs- wash hands on arrival to address door handles

6) Entry /exit doors
Enter the office only after washing your hands in the washroom, or after having used hand sanitizer after exiting the elevator. Use paper towels on your hands when touching door handles and then dispose of.

7) Kitchen utensils, mugs, plates etc.
Please bring your own and keep in your workspace. Do not use those in the BCA kitchen. Do not leave anything in the sink.

8) Social Distancing
Stay 6 feet away from others. Please follow floor marking and signage regarding distancing

  • Common use areas- copy room, copiers, scanner, back fridge:
    Maximum one person in copier room at a time – hand sanitizer going in and going out; Back fridge – hand sanitizer before and after touching; Printers- hand sanitizer before and after touching.
  • People with offices:
    Keep 6 feet back when consulting with others, avoid touching or leaning on walls or furniture outside your own office. Sanitize own work area at start and finish of day and as necessary.
